Introduction:- 'Quality brings business' is an eternal truth. Quality tools like SPC, PPAP & MSA are very important for Quality Assurance and Effective & Efficient Supply Chain Management. SPC, or Statistical Process Control, is the use of statistical techniques to analyze a process or its outputs, so as to take appropriate actions, to ensure stable levels of quality within the process. It can be used to validate ability to meet customer requirements and to provide guidance about how to improve quality. The statistical methods aspire to prevent defects instead of just detecting. The calculations provide an early warning indicator of effects on the process, allowing for correction at the best possible moment. It thus helps to prevent waste.
The purpose of PPA is to determine if all the customer engineering design records and specification requirements are properly understood by the supplier and the process has the potential to produce product consistently meeting these requirements during the actual production run at the quoted production rate. Measurement System Analysis (MSA) ascertains the accuracy of measurement carried out by any agency at any place during the evaluation of process / product. This enables management to take right decisions in the field of Quality. Our programme deals with all these concept and practices so that good practices are understood by delegates for their improvement implementation plans in their organizations.
Participant Profile:- This Executive Development Programme is for all Supervisors, Managers and Executives from all functions of Materials, Supply Chain Management across the organization, Quality Control & Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Logistics Partners, and Marketing to support Initiatives of the Organization for Lean Management.
