Taking my own experience into consideration, I believe new ideas can come from anywhere and from
anyone. While attending a class on organizational behavior at the University of Illinois, US, I came up with the
idea of Theory of Organization Misfit which won me the First Prize from the Association of Corporate Growth,
Chicago. After losing a customer, I developed a unique concept of Customer Math. Review of my presentation
by the Chairman of the company I worked for suggested the 80/20 rule of developing an effective presentation.
Similarly, I think there are thousands of you out there who have a unique management idea or an interesting
thought based on your experience and logical thinking. Development of unique management ideas and thoughts
is not the sole domain of management gurus, top executives or Ph.Ds as some think.
